SRT Connection
ELNA will be hosting a meeting for the East Lynne neighborhood on Monday, December 5 at 6:30 PM. Calin Owens, the senior mobility coordinator for the City of Greenville will be speaking to the neighborhood about the process of a trail connectivity project, project budgeting, and next steps for our neighborhood.
Anyone interested in SRT connectivity for the East Lynn neighborhood is strongly encouraged to participate. There will be an opportunity for residents to ask questions as well as provide ideas, input and feedback.
Neighborhood Visioning Project
ELNA representatives, Mike Austin, and Kevin Feeny met with city council representative, Wil Brasington, earlier this month. In addition to SRT connectivity, the city would like to better understand what other projects, needs/desires the neighborhood views as important moving forward. This will be a topic of discussion at this meeting and people are strongly encouraged to bring thoughts and ideas to share. (We hope to have a preliminary list of priorities compiled to present to the city prior to the end of the year)
All ideas welcome. Some ideas that have been previously mentioned: Sidewalks, community garden, East Lynne signage.Please come share your thoughts and ideas!
