CODE REVISIONS RELEASED

City staff has released a new, revised draft of the proposed zoning map and development code document.

Next Steps

The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to receive comments on the revised development code. Those wishing to speak may register in advance online(See link below) until Noon on Friday, May 12. The Commission will hear from those who pre-registered first, before opening the meeting to other attendees. Registration is not required to attend; it is only for those wishing to speak.

Written comments on the code may be sent to the Planning Commission by emailing planning@greenvillesc.gov by Noon on Friday, May 12.

The Planning Commission may choose to vote on the draft zoning map and development code at its May 15 meeting. Or they may decide to extend the discussion to a meeting on May 23. The Commission will send its recommendation to City Council. Two Council votes are required to officially adopt the new development code and zoning map.
